120mm UNI FAN SL-INF Reverse Blade ARGB PWM Triple Fan Pack from Lian Li

Lian Li UNI FAN SL-INF 120mm ARGB PWM Fan White

Infinity In Motion The Lian Li UNI FAN SL-INF bends light into illusion, projecting endless reflections through its signature side-mounted infinity mirrors—each pulse, pattern, and glow drawing you deeper into a shifting visual loop. With three lighting zones per fan and a mirror design on the side, it’s not just RGB—it’s a moving light sculpture inside your case. Behind the spectacle, its daisy-chain modular design keeps cabling neat and installs intuitive, letting the fans snap together as one cohesive unit. Fully controlled through L-Connect 3, every gradient and speed curve becomes yours to command—built for those who don’t just want to light their build, but lose themselves in it.

Reverse Blade Flow Direction

Reverse Blade TechnologyThis fan pushes 63.6 CFM of airflow through reversed blades, making it a powerful choice for maintaining low temperatures in push/pull configurations. Its PWM functionality allows for dynamic fan speed control, adjusting to your system’s needs for good cooling without waste or noise.

Daisy Chain DesignThe interlocking design enables up to four fans to be daisy-chained together with ease, eliminating clutter and simplifying installation. This feature transforms UNI Fans into a game-changer, providing effortless control and unified performance in modern PC builds.

One Set, One Cable

Triple Fan Pack - Direct to UNI HUBIn the multi-fan configuration, each SL-Infinity fan interlocks with the next, physically and electrically. The entire group is powered and controlled via a single proprietary 7-pin connector, routed through the reversible central cable module and plugged directly into the included Lian Li controller. This setup eliminates excess wiring and delivers full PWM and ARGB control through one streamlined link—purpose-built for tidy, scalable installations.

INCLUDED UNI HUB

The controller starts strong with support for fan clusters via an ARGB + PWM signal, allowing up to four fans per group to be daisy-chained and controlled together. Alongside that, (1) SM TYPE ports extend compatibility to devices like the Galahad AIO pump's ARGB cable. Each SM port delivers up to 5W, with SYNC 4 and SYNC 2 echoing the lighting effects of Ports 4 and 2 respectively—perfect for symmetrical setups.

Power delivery comes from (3) dual SATA cables, with a combined max input of 29W. The main SATA connection is always required, while the secondary one should be used when powering more than 12 fans or running high-output lighting modes like static white. (4) A 9-pin USB cable connects the hub to your motherboard for L-Connect software control, and (5) 5V ARGB + 4-pin PWM cables allow for full sync with your motherboard’s lighting and fan profiles.

Your Fans, Your Personality

Triple Zone Fan ARGB Strips with Infinity Mirror Highlighted with Colour Effect

Dual Infinity DesignThe UNI FAN SL-INF features three distinct lighting zones per fan: the fan blades, the outer frame, and the signature infinity mirrors on each side. Together, they create a layered platform for advanced lighting effects across your build. Every zone is fully customisable through L-Connect 3, allowing for dynamic gradients, alternating color schemes, or clean, uniform visuals.

Excellent Modularity

Removable Keylock
Each SL-Infinity fan features an interlocking key to keep your daisy-chained setup securely aligned—but now, that key is fully removable. This small yet important tweak frees up space around tight radiator layouts, making it easier to work around fittings without compromising the clean stackable design.

Reversible Cable
The redesigned cable module now sits dead centre on the fan frame and offers reversible orientation. This flexibility makes it much easier to manage cable routing, especially near radiator inlet and outlet ports—reducing interference, improving fitment, and keeping everything tidy no matter the configuration.

Behind the Scenes

Precision PBT BladesThe thick polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) blades are engineered for rigidity and minimal flex. This design clears lots of room for static pressure while preventing turbulence.

Reinforced Core StabilityMoving inward, a high-strength metal bearing secures the impeller in place. A surrounding rubber ring helps absorb vibrations, keeping noise levels low and holding balance.

Exploded view of Fan Anatomy

Engineered Fan FrameA reinforced 25mm-thick fan frame completes the structure, built for durability and airflow efficiency. Rubber dampening pads at each corner absorb residual vibrations, staying quiet at all times.

Fluid Dynamic BearingAt the heart of the fan lies the fluid dynamic bearing (FDB), designed to keep friction to a minimum and max out on lifespan. Supported by a brass nut, stator, and shaft, this system allows for smooth and stable rotation.

L-Connect 3 Software

ARGB Customisation (Motherboard Sync) in L-Connect 3

Become The ArtistWith quick sync, all Lian Li devices—SL/AL UNI FANs and STRIMER PLUS V1/V2—can match lighting effects in seconds. One click ties your setup together, and another can sync everything to your motherboard’s software. No guesswork, no mismatch—just instant coordination across your entire rig.

Fan Curve Setup in L-Connect 3

Cool When Needed, Silent When NotL-Connect 3 introduces a Start/Stop mode that halts the fans entirely when system temperatures are low—keeping your build whisper-quiet under 50°C. For more precise thermal tuning, sync fan speed directly to your motherboard (PWM), letting your system decide exactly when extra airflow is needed.

Ecosystem Setup in L-Connect 3

Your Unified EcosystemL-Connect 3 hands over full control of your fan lighting. You can independently select effects for the fan blades, the inner frame, or both—offering an endless array of combinations to suit any theme. (1) Choose between custom or preset effects, (2) define exact colours, adjust brightness, speed, and direction. Whether you want symmetry or layered contrast, it’s all at your fingertips.

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Watercooling
Date Issued: 19th Jun 2008

Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. That means for air cooling, to cope with increasing temperature in the heatsink you need to move the air across it faster. That is why thermostatically controlled fans in your PC will turn faster the hotter something gets.

Anybody who has been near their share of computer systems will appreciate that not all systems make the same amount of noise. There are a number of reasons for why this is so. Firstly, a computer makes noise for different reasons. Generally, anything mechanical is going to make noise.
